Professional Referral & Community Partnership

Working Together to Support Our Communities

At Vel Psychotherapy, we believe that healing happens best in connection. Whether you're referring a client or looking to collaborate, we welcome opportunities to walk alongside you in support of the communities we all serve.

Why Professionals Refer to Vel Psychotherapy

Clients often arrive at your door carrying stories, stress, or transitions that stretch beyond one person or one service. At Vel, our approach is grounded in trauma informed, culturally attuned, and person centred care.

Professionals refer to us because we offer:

  • Compassionate mental health support for individuals, couples, families, children, and youth

  • Speciality care in perinatal mental health, youth wellbeing, domestic and family violence, addictions, trauma, and life transitions

  • Flexible service delivery including virtual therapy, in person therapy, walk and talk sessions, and telephone sessions

  • A warm and relational space where clients feel heard, validated, and supported

Our goal is simple: to build a care pathway that feels safe, accessible, and aligned with the needs of your client or community member.
